The Organisation

1. To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises by:
• Developing a free consultancy service in organisational development
• Facilitating a network of social entrepreneurs
2. To improve health and well being through improving healthy eating by:
• Promoting and developing sustainable local community food initiatives based on the training and support for Community Food Champions in deprived communities
• Providing cooking skills and food safety training to disadvantaged individuals; such as homeless people hoping to move to independent living
• Developing food related social enterprise activities that can provide both volunteering opportunities and vocational work experience in catering such as: Developing both the geographic and daily coverage of lunch clubs for older people in the Bournemouth area and managing the community café in West Howe
• Developing other training that will improve cooking and food safety skills in all age groups
